Nuela Charles |
Life

Inspired by New York street photography and the Harlem Vogue movement of the 1970s, this black and white performance has Nuela transforming crowded rush hour traffic into a stage. Vogue dancers surround her as she moves through gridlocked taxis and cars. The world around her stuck in the rat race.

Adorned in a Zoot Suit, Nuela Charles stands tall against the steel and concrete of the city streets.
Nuela stands tall against city skyline as if to say…

I’m breaking through.
